Ludwigsburg Schloss Monrepos

The Monrepos palace complex, one of the “side palaces” of the extensive Ludwigsburg residential complex, is an important overall composition of lake, park, palace, staffage and outbuildings. The center of the complex is the lakeside castle itself, which rises on a plinth structure on the northwestern lake shore.

Die Schlossanlage Monrepos, eines der „Nebenschlösser“ der ausgedehnten Residenzanlage Ludwigsburg, ist eine bedeutende Gesamtkomposition aus See, Park, Schloss, Staffage- und Nebengebäude. Zentrum der Anlage ist das Seeschloss selbst, das sich auf einem Sockelbauwerkam nordwestlichen Ufer erhebt.
